Ladies and Gentlemen,

on behalf of the Scientific and Organizing Committee, we cordially invite you to participate in the XXXIII Scientific Conference of Sekcja Klasyfikacji i Analizy Danych – SKAD 2024.

This year's SKAD 2024 conference, organized by the Krakow University of Economics, will be held on June 5-6 in Krakow.

Everyone interested in participating in the Conference is asked to register via the online form by April 15, 2024.

The cost of participation in the Conference is PLN 1,000 (250 EUR).

The 32nd Scientific Conference of the Classification and Data Analysis Section of the Polish Statistical Association was held on 19–20 September 2023, in Katowice, Poland. The conference was organised by the Classification and Data Analysis Section and the Department of Demography and Economic Statistics, and the Department of Economic and Financial Analysis of the University of Economics in Katowice. The Organising Committee was chaired by Dominik Krężołek, PhD, DSc, professor at the University of Economics in Katowice.

The conference featured 48 participants who are faculty members and doctoral students of the following universities and institutions: The Mazovian Academy in Płock, Statistics Poland, Gdańsk University of Technology, Silesian University of Technology, Warsaw University of Life Sciences, SGH Warsaw School of Economics, Universidade do Porto, University of Essex, University of Economics in Katowice, Cracow University of Economics, Poznań University of Economics and Business, Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, University of Gdańsk, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Lodz University, Poznań University of Life Sciences, University of Szczecin, the Statistical Office in Poznań.

39 presentations introducing research results relating to the theory and application of classification and data analysis were presented during four plenary and five parallel sessions.

The 31st Scientific Conference of the Classification and Data Analysis Section (SKAD) of the Polish Statistical Association took place on 7–8 September 2022, in Warsaw, Poland. The conference was organised by the Classification and Data Analysis Section and the Department of Econometrics and Statistics of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. Monika Zielińska-Sitkiewicz, PhD, was the chairman of the Organising Committee.

The conference featured 65 participants – faculty members and doctoral students of the following universities and institutions: WSB University at Dąbrowa Górnicza, Pomeranian University in Słupsk, Carnegie Mellon University, Rzeszów University of Technology, Warsaw University of Life Sciences, SGH Warsaw School of Economics, University of Economics in Katowice, Cracow University of Economics, Poznań University of Economics and Business, Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, University of Gdańsk, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Lodz University, Poznań University of Life Sciences, University of Szczecin, University of Wrocław, and the Statistical Office in Poznań.

During the conference, 30 presentations introducing research results on the theory and application of classification and data analysis were delivered in three plenary sessions and six parallel sessions. Six poster presentations were given during the poster session.

During the conference, the new SKAD Council was elected with the following composition:

The 29th Scientific Conference ‘Classification and Data Analysis – Theory and Applications’ (the 24th Taxonomic Conference) of the Classification and Data Analysis Section of the Polish Statistical Association (SKAD) took place on 7–9 September 2020, in Sopot, Poland. The conference was organised by the Faculty of Management of the University of Gdansk and held online through the Microsoft Teams communication platform. Krzysztof Najman, PhD, DSc, Assoc. Prof. at the University of Gdansk was the chairman of the Organising Committee.

The conference featured 44 speakers who are faculty members and doctoral students of the following universities and institutions: AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW, SGH Warsaw School of Economics, University of Economics in Katowice, Cracow University of Economics, Poznań University of Economics and Business, Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, University of Gdansk, Poznań University of Life Sciences, University of Szczecin, West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, Medical University of Silesia, and Professor Brunon Synak Pomeranian Research Institute. During 10 plenary sessions, 34 presentations were delivered, introducing research results concerning the theory and applications of classification and data analysis.

During the conference, the new SKAD Council was elected with the following composition:
